Write for us
We welcome pitches that help readers understand how signs, maps, landmarks and routes shape the way cities are read. Send proposals through the Contact page; please do not submit a full article unless requested.
What fits
We are interested in focused, evergreen ideas about urban wayfinding and public information: a design choice worth explaining, a useful comparison, a clear piece of history, or a common misunderstanding readers can examine for themselves. The strongest proposals have one central question and a clear reason it matters to a general reader.
What to include
Tell us the working title, the main point, the category it fits and a short outline of the examples or sources you would use. Explain what makes the piece distinct from existing coverage. Keep claims proportionate and flag any specialist material that would need careful checking.
Sending a proposal
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option, then include your pitch in the message. A proposal is not a commission, and we cannot promise publication or a response by a particular date. Please do not send confidential material or personal information about others.
